It happened like this...
While we were finishing Optimum and Watchmaker Laughing Gear decided to perform a little experiment to try out some new production and recording equipment.
Five Knives is five movements combined to make one 26 min long track written from the point of view of a serial killer. Sometimes darkly humorous, sometimes plain dark, the idea of a serial killer (think more Seven than Kool Keith) was originally written as a short verse which has ended up on Bile Duct (Wives).
The recording on this site with the most finished the track / ep became as Laughing Gears hard drive burnt out before we could master it or correct a couple of sloppy lines.
This was never released for sale but has been available for down load with a few physical copies handed out to our friends.
